1. Core Principle
A campaign or tracking link may be used only in the manner expressly permitted for that campaign. Access to a tracking link is not, by itself, permission to use every traffic source or promotional method.
2. Campaign Approval
EarnPe may approve a publisher or campaign participation subject to conditions. Approval may be limited by geography, device, traffic source, placement, audience, channel, keyword, promotional format or other campaign parameters.
3. Permitted Traffic
Each campaign should specify permitted sources, such as organic content, direct traffic, owned website/app traffic, social sharing, email, coupon/deal pages or paid media, only where expressly allowed.
4. Restricted/Prohibited Traffic
Each campaign should expressly identify prohibited or restricted sources, including brand bidding, PPC, paid social, display, incentivised traffic, cashback where prohibited, email, messaging, browser extensions, toolbars, pop-under traffic, redirects, sub-publishers or any other source not approved for that campaign.
5. Tracking Links
A tracking link identifies attribution; it does not itself grant permission for a traffic source. Publishers must not modify, cloak or manipulate tracking parameters except as expressly permitted by EarnPe.
6. Sub-IDs
Where sub-IDs are available, publishers should use them accurately and must not use them to conceal prohibited traffic or misrepresent the source of activity.
7. Publisher Representations
The publisher represents that traffic generated through its account and links complies with the campaign rules and that any third party used by the publisher has been appropriately instructed and supervised.
8. Change of Traffic Source
A material change in traffic source or promotional method requires approval where the campaign rules require it. Previous approval does not automatically extend to a materially different source.
9. Evidence and Audit
EarnPe may request information reasonably necessary to verify traffic source, placements, advertising accounts, websites, applications, sub-publishers and campaign compliance. Publishers should retain relevant records.
10. Non-Compliance
Where prohibited or irregular activity is identified, EarnPe may suspend or terminate campaign access, disable tracking, reject or reverse commissions, request corrective action, and take other measures permitted by contract or law.
11. Advertiser Requirements
Retailer/advertiser requirements may impose additional restrictions. Publishers must comply with the applicable advertiser requirements communicated for the campaign.
12. Written Exceptions
Any exception to a campaign restriction must be expressly approved by EarnPe in writing. Silence, issuance of a tracking link, historical approval, or processing of a transaction does not constitute a waiver.
13. Version Control
EarnPe should maintain a dated version of each campaign's traffic guidelines and retain the applicable version that was communicated to the publisher at the relevant time.
14. Dispute Evidence
In any traffic dispute, the relevant assessment should consider the campaign version, publisher account, tracking ID/sub-ID, source information available to EarnPe, communications, approvals and the actual traffic evidence. The existence of an EarnPe tracking link alone should not be treated as proof that every method of using that link was authorised.
